Titel:

Synthesis and Characterization of new Schiff base and its complexes

Absteract:

In this paper, new Schiff base synthesized from 3-amino pyridine (ampy)and cinnamaldehyde and Characterized by H-NMR, C NMR, mass, UV-visible and i.r.spectroscopy. Then complexes with the stoichiometric Formula [M(L)2 (H2O)nX2] where X=CL,NO3, M=Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), L new Schiff base, n=0-2 has been synthesized and Characterized by Magnetic Susceptibility and i.r. spectroscopy. The Ligand bebave as bidentate coordinating through azomethine nitrogen atom and pyridine ring nitrogen atom. An octahedral structure is suggested for complexes.
